Play every whole note up to the 12th fret (ascending order):
- G-A-B-C-D-E-F-G (12th Fret).

Play every whole note from the 12th fret down to the open G (descending order):
- G (12th Fret)-F-E-D-C-B-A-G.

As you play each note, say the name of the note out loud.
