Exercise 1

Play every whole note, on strings 6 and 5, up to the 12th fret (ascending order):
  • B-C-D-E-F-G-A-B (12th Fret).
  • E-F-G-A-B-C-D-E (12th Fret).

Play every whole note, on strings 6 and 5, from the 12th fret down to its open note (descending order):
  • B (12th Fret)-A-G-F-E-D-C-B.
  • E (12th Fret)-D-C-B-A-G-F-E.

As you play each note, say the name of the note out loud.
