In this lesson we're going to practice the A-G-E Shape Patterns.

C-F-G Major Chord Progression
Play the Unit 1 Lesson 2 mp3 file (this is the backing track of the C-F-G chord progression).

As the backing track plays:
- Play the A Shape Pattern over the C Major chord (bars 1 and 2).
- Play the G Shape Pattern over the F Major chord (bars 3 and 4).
- Play the E Shape Pattern over the G Major chord (bar 5).
- Play the E Shape Pattern over the F Major chord (bar 6).

On bars 1 through 4:
- Start on the 6th string and play down to the 1st string.
- From the 1st string play up to the 6th string.

On bars 5 and 6:
- You can choose the notes to play from the indicated Shape Pattern.

Use alternate picking.
