We're now going to recap those 3 CAGED System Shape Patterns to make sure you can easily move between them.

As the backing track plays:
  • Play the C Shape Pattern over the C Major chord (bars 1 and 2).
  • Play the A Shape Pattern over the F Major chord (bars 3 and 4).
  • Play the G Shape Pattern over the G Major chord (bar 5).
  • Play the G Shape Pattern over the F Major chord (bar 6).

On bars 1 through 4:
  • Start on the 6th string and play down to the 1st string.
  • From the 1st string play up to the 6th string.

  • You can choose the notes to play from the indicated Shape Pattern.
